“Elli is simply adorable! She is beautifully made, with a nice weight to her and a lovely thoughtful expression as though considering what to do, or say, next. Her hair seems to be layered, which may limit styling a little, but it’s a glorious colour and brushes nicely. Although her cloth body is described as having, “a built-in wire frame to ensure a high degree of mobility,” I don’t think that meant what I thought it did - I couldn’t feel any evidence of an inside frame. My Elli’s arms and legs move as you’d expect a doll of her construction to move, but there’s nothing inside to hold them in a pose. I bought her as a collector but I imagine Elli would be a wonderful playmate for a child.”
