“I have purchased 4 x leatherman multi tools now, all from multi-tool-store. The quality and precision of these tools are exquisite. And they are tools. My partner and I used them regularly around the house and at home, and I keep them in my cycling pack.
The sidekick is slightly smaller than the Charge and Surge, and possibly not quite as designed for heavy duty. But it is still built well, and more compact and lighter. I also like the spring action in the pliers which Charge and Surge do not have.
My only suggestion would be (and this is the case for any leatherman) would be to have a case with a little storage pouch suitable for holding an AirTag or similar - I panicked once when I couldn’t find one of these multi-tools as they are pretty small, used for all sorts of things and easily misplaced.”
