Fantastic little multi tool, well designed with the exception of a slightly loose blade which potentially could cause issues if not careful but overall fantastic.

The tool is very stiff to open up but I can easily live with that. I imagine it'll loosen up with use. Being non locking makes it more legal to carry although I do miss my wave which was stolen from me. The overall quality seems slightly lower than the wave maybe just my mind doing strange things. Every thing works however and I hope to get 20 plus years good use out of it as I did the wave. Good practical sheath, not sure whether the velcro or the push stud closure will be my favourite yet but the quiet opening is nice. All in all a great product thanks guys.

On the plus side, the Bond’s tools are of great quality. It's compact, light and probably UK legal, making a great pocket carry if you have the pocket clip. The simple sheath and large lanyard loop are great for watersports. Unfortunately the body of the Bond is low quality and poorly engineered, compared to other Leatherman models. All the bolts on mine have been overtightened so much that it was virtually unusable out of the box. Oiling and working the joints helps a bit, but it’s very hard to open and close the pliers and most of the tools. There is play in the plier handles when they’re closed. Feels like it’s going to bend or break when using it as a screwdriver with the plier handles closed. How the pliers manage to be wobbly and overly stiff at the same time is beyond me. When using the pliers, the exposed edge of the file forms part of the handle, but it's sharp and rough against your hand. The file has a nail slot to pull it out with, but this is completely unnecessary and just limits the usability of the file. I realise that this is a “cheap” Leatherman, but I’d rather pay a bit more for a UK legal carry multitool with the same amazing quality as my Charge Plus. My PST is 30 years old and has none of the above problems.

Very well built and ergonomically designed multi tool. Especially a fan of the Phillips drive and sharp main blade.

This was bought as a gift The person I gave it to is very happy. He is a national trust ranger and it has become part of his uniform
