“My grandson was disappointed that packets of the materials shown on the box were not included in item.It does seem expensive just for some slats and a tube of glue to assemble the hotel structure.When you live in an urban area it is not always easy to source what is required to fill it.”

Dear Customer, thanks for your review. The "natural" elements pictured on the product box are suggestions as to how to use the Insect Hotel, and we do explain in our product description that you need to add these contents yourself. They are not included in with the product because insect species vary dependant upon the locality of the customer, and of course the local natural habitats will vary from one part of world to another. We would therefore always suggest you find natural fillings from your local area similar to but not necessarily the same as those pictured. Hopefully that helps but do contact us if you need any further assistance.
