I’m 52 and was previously a runner. I just started mountain biking 8 months ago. I ate healthy and exercised so thought I was in decent shape. I volunteer as a coach for our local youth mountain bike team, and would get exhausted riding up hills with them. Within the first month using the app (I use the home-fitness plan) I was able to notice an immediate difference cardio-wise. Hills that previously took me a long time to recover from, I was recovering from much more quickly. The tone in my body improved to the best it had ever been (even when I had been running 5x/week and going to the gym 3x/week, doing the same exercises I had been doing for the past 30 years). I truly believe it can be attributed to the carefully selected exercises Matt plans out, and the changing of activities every 4 weeks. Additionally, I had a number of questions when I first started using the app. Matt was always able to respond promptly, with great kindness and patience. I highly recommend this app and can’t see ever going back to “doing things my way,” again. The progress I made with this app was just far too great!

Very easy to use and the app keeps you motivated with useful features like recording your weights for next time. The ethos of MTB Fit in general is very good and I recommend this program, my enjoyment on the bike has increased hugely!

I recently started Mt biking. I am 58 years old and started the program a couple weeks ago. I can already see improvements in my riding. I am entering my first race in August. Thanks Matt!!

Really enjoying the app, using the home sessions and def feeling the difference on the bike now. Like how the rests and wall sits for example have timers built into the app and appreciate the suggested substitutes being so far out of shape my poor upper body can’t do as much as is asked of it! Roll on our 40th in sept; 3 bike parks in 4 days

After following Matt on IS for more than a year, I recently subscribed to the MTB Fit app. I assumed that I had a strong training regime. You are never too old to learn and get better as I’ve discovered after almost 3 weeks of using the MTB Fit App. Matt has built a flexible, intuitively functional and rigorous series of training regimes that allows the novice and the more experienced MTB rider to train under any circumstances. I am using muscle groups that benefit riding immensely. I’ve already noticed positive changes on the trails and my strength on the bike is better. Daily stretches are also helping with better flexibility. I’m really looking forward to what lies ahead!

I love this app! Very user friendly, the workouts are challenging but enjoyable, and Matt's video demos are clear and understandable. Looking forward to getting summer-trail fit using this plan over the winter!

The app is excellent. Easy to get set up and started. Integrates well with Garmin. Exercise plans are easy to follow and the photos and videos make it easy to perform the exercises.
