Loving the book, lots to think about and it reinforces what your thinking already, with some new ride hacks . Its not just a read through, I go back to different chapters and read them again. Apply the thinking to my whole outlook of riding. Love the culture of it.

Hi Matt The information in the book is top class I am 58 years old and ex military I find the content to be specific to my age category the topics covered are of great use because they deal with exactly what I need to know be reminded of at this stage of my life when I sometimes think I am still 20 years old . As a 3 hour marathoner back in the eighties the approach to training was very different then, we just togged out and arrived at the start line with little thought given to preparation. Your book covers all that is need to know in a practical common sense way with no drama, as do your daily emails. I am glad I have discovered your material all in very good Matt. Nowadays I adventure race but use MTB & Gravel biking to supplement. P.S Your other material has been useful as well

Really great info Matt... I love the emails because they are straight to the point and have a direct impact! Brilliant mate... I’m back on the mtn bike now after a few weeks due to a knee procedure. I’m 51 and have been weight training all my life and you have changed my mind on what it takes to be fit on the bike..! I’ve booked myself into the Noosa mtn bike enduro in Aug so your tips on training will be crucial! thank you Matt

This is an area which seems to be a bit taboo but is so needed! Our recovery changes massively over the courses of our lives and it is difficult to get clear information on how to react with your exercise plan. This was bought as a Christmas present to pair with the 12 week training plan. A few weeks in and lots of knackered updates from the recipient but no reports of lasting effects, so I say it's obviously doing it's job!
