Training programme is, as expect. Pretty tough. It is a big commitment due to the amount of training sessions but results are seen after a short period of time. Only reason I dropped a star and this is harsh is. I would like to have seen a bit more nutritional included.

I’m in week 1 and I like the workout so far. I really wish there was a book with pictures of excercises. It would make it easier to keep down in my gym to just flip through book with pictures. With the digital book, you almost have to go through everything before hand so you can get through the days workout in a timely manner.

When I saw the price my initial thought was it couldn't be very good - how wrong I was ! I'm a gym regular for many years so I assumed the gym sessions wouldn't be a problem but they are a challenge. Matt clearly understands that compound moves are the basis of full body strength; progressing through the weeks I have found I was able to lift heavier weights. Having a clearly structured programme that changes every 2 weeks was great as I think I'd got to a stage in the gym before this with my training where I wasn't seeing any gains. Other thing I noticed from gym sessions was my whole core (not just the abs) getting noticeably tighter & stronger. Daily stretching routine has been great; previously I was pretty stiff & aching after my normal mtb ride on a Sunday, but stretching has resolved that. The other part of the programme (bike intervals) is where I've seen the greatest difference. First change was pedalling under load whilst out on the trail; I felt more comfortable in that I could sustain a certain gear & pedalling speed for those gradual , long climbs. Next was feeling as though climbs weren't as physically draining as they used to be. As I progressed through the programme I began to see an increase in trail speed too. I came to the end of the programme the same week I was going to ride in the UK Enduro Champs at the Tweedlove bike festival in Peebles. I did 30 miles over two days of practice the non race day pedalled around 34 miles over seven and a quarter hours in the saddle ! I have no doubt that this programme gave me the overall bike fitness to complete that and suffer no cramp issues or feel like my legs were spent. So buy it & you won't regret it !

This is a good programme, I’m enjoying it (as much as you can enjoy the gym!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) and is comprehensive and clearly written really recommend the FB group too as it’s a good extra line of support. Matt is great at answering questions you might have which is fantastic I don’t know how he Finds time! I was tempted to give only one star to put you off so I could be the only one benefiting from this....πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Just starting week 5 of the program and it's brilliant. I used to do gym work and fitness work to help with my racing but always felt like I wasn't really getting anywhere with it. So I decided to get the program and since starting I feel fitter and stronger already. The gym sessions cover a variety of different workouts that are relevant to biking and the intervals are hard work but they certainly make a difference in your fitness. The daily emails are full of useful hints and tips and the Facebook page is great. Definitely worth the buy.

Very impressed with the program so far. I regularly lifted weights and rode my bike as often as possible before hand. However, this program has given me a solid structure to follow that has challenged my body in new ways and really shaken up my routine! The weight sessions are enjoyable with good variety bringing in exercises that I hadn't explored before. Intervals are spot on and have noticed my fitness on my rides improve. I'd constantly told myself I needed to stretch more but never really lived up to it... consistently following Matt's stretches though has already made a big difference to my flexibility. Previously I was struggling to manual due to tight hamstrings. Now I'm finding it much easier to straighten my legs whilst popping back and my manuals are coming on nicely 😁. Overall full marks. Worth every penny πŸ‘Œ
