“....currently on the subs bench while an operation heals itself. So from Mid May onwards, my return to fitness will be through this MTB plan.
It reads well and I am really looking forward to acting upon it.....”
“The info itself is solid, but when I purchased I thought I would be getting a hard copy book. Instead I tried to print the pages and it took a very long time and killed a lot of ink on my personal printer. The cost to have it printed was not worth it either. I guess I should have researched this before I spend 40 and spent even more on paper/ink. Other than that, it looks like a good plan that I hope to start soon.”
“I started the 12 week program in January because I wanted to be fitter on climbs and train more specific in gym.
After this 12 weeks I can only say thank you Matt for making such an awesome program!
The plan is easy to follow, there are many videos to show you how it’s done. I followed the gym plan and it’s easier in the beginning when you slowly start working with dumbbells and when the plan gets tougher there are barbells, bosu ball and other things added. I found my love for lifting weights with this program , because you see such good results which motivates you. After this 12 weeks I can almost deadlift my bodyweight.
I hated the intervals, but they need to be done ;)
In the end I can say it helped me a lot on the bike. I got faster on the uphill and had no arm pump or hurting fingers, even on the first bikepark day of the year.
Thanks Matt for being always there when I needed your advice! Continue to do such great work!
I will buy the advanced plan after this biking season and for now I will continue to go to gym and lift weights and do some intervals. But not as often as in winter, cause it’s biking time ;)”
“Into week 3 of the program and found it to be a great start to training for a 99 miler race in June. Living in Canada the mtb season does not start until May once the snow has cleared from the trails so it’s great to have a training plan in the gym mixed with some road and gravel road rides. Looking forward to seeing what it’s like when I hit the trails in May.”
