I have got myself set up in the lounge and ready to start. But am finding some parts a little confusing. My husband has printed the book out for me. I have chosen to do the home option. I have Swiss ball and weights already. Bike on stand. It took me a moment to work out that complete gym workout up to weeks 12 is first in the book. To ignore that and do the home gym. But then you have weeks one and two plan a and then weeks one and two plan b for each the gym and home sessions which is the confusing part. I am assuming you do both plans of the weeks one and two all at once every time. It’s not really clear to the nongym junkie. I have an iPad so have actually hand written each workout on paper and gone to u tube to watch and done a stick diagram to show what you have to do as form is everything easy to injure if not correctly done. I just love the demos. But am reluctant to hook in until another week as I had a 21 km off road running race two days ago and have signed up for a 50km mountain bike this Saturday 21 September and I don’t want to be too sore ad I know the race will be brutal for a slow bee like me . Because when I start I have read to expect some soreness. But I have started the daily stretches. But hopefully once I get into it each day and become familiar with the exercises it will make sense and won’t take so long, and I hope I have interpreted it right . I have read and re read to double check. But looking forward to some results.

Hi Matt, i sent this to you via messenger with no reply...so now you have asked for a review, i thought i would paste what i said into here. So.... just bought the 12 week programme (last week). Although it works out quite expensive converted to Aussie dollars, it looks good, but can I make a few suggestions to improve it? I actually didn't think I would have to google what most of the exercises are! Although I have been a gym goer for years, even I was a bit lost on what some of the exercises were. And can I ask what the letters in brackets mean? For example the ( n) after Lying DB curls?.. And the (SL) after Hamstring Curl?.. What do the letters mean?.... Also would have been good to have diagrams showing each stretch. I've stretched and done yoga my whole life, but even I had to google some of them. Example, the 3D hip flexor stretch had me baffled. Another example is, my brother in law just bought a bike and is keen to get fit and start riding some tracks. I know this is hard to believe but he doesn't own a smart phone, or a computer. Hes completely in the dark ages. I told him about this programme, but he firstly has no way to download the pdf (he didnt even know what a pdf was!!) So he was hoping for a DVD/USB stick that would be delivered that would show him all the stretches and exercises that you mention in the pdf. So, only 2 stars from me mate sorry as i think you need to cater for all the people you have never set foot in a gym, or are not able to use a computer to google what half of the exercises/stretches are and how to do them. Anyway, i have started this week and my long term goal is to do all days of 3 different races next year in Australia.. Port to Port, Cape to Cape, and Reef to Reef👍😁... Cheers Mick

From page 1 you can tell there is a lot of hard, smart work behind. the only thing I would change is the format used for the weekly plans (exercises, sets & reps), it requires a lot of black ink and it just goes to waste, maybe you can change it to a complete white page.... just an ECO friendly idea :)

Still a bit early and I have still to establish some sort of rhythm. Results not yet showing but I am sure that they will come. The program has given me some structure in the gym as I did not know what I was doing before. Still not a gym fan 😉. The one thing I find is missing is how I should choose the weight to use?

Just started the program a week ago and already seeing a major improvement on the bike. I thought I was somewhat fit and an intermediate rider but right now my legs are sore and it’s so worth it! Also, the daily stretches help tremendously. I know it’s going to be a tough few months but I’m really excited to see my progress.
