“As I am quite unfit 62 year old, been putting off getting the programme for nearly a year. In the end I said go for it. Probably be more like a 20 week programme for me. Like the stretches, try to do these daily. Like the way Matt sets out the routines for different levels of ability. “I decided to wait with my review until I finished week 4. I really like the program. It is a difficult task to make a training program that fits all but I think you have done a great job; simple and efficient.
Some years ago I worked with a personal trainer. Back then I had a rest week once a month which was essential. To get back to your program, I think you should expand it to include a rest week after each 4 weeks session.
Due to the coronavirus I am doing the strength training sessions at home. I had to modify some of the exercises because I don’t have a pole to wrap the band around. I tried once around the banister but I was afraid to pull it down (and I don’t weigh a lot) 🤣.
What is really important to me is that now I have a plan for my training. I bike a lot (both road and MTB) but even though I am in pretty good shape, I still benefit from your program. I am taking a rest week this week and I am looking forward to starting week 5 next week.
Have you thought about adding technical skills training (could be an add-on, I am thinking that some people would be happy paying extra for that)? Fitness is great but technical skills are equally important.
