Was a bit sceptical but have used my mooncup for 2 cycles now and very pleased. Easy to insert, wash and sterilise. Comfortable when in place. A little trickier to remove without mess but practice makes perfect!

I ordered this as I my old cup needed replacing and I have gone up an age category! Happy with this - the ribbed stem to help get a grip on it is an improvement.

It took a few tries to feel comfortable that I was using it right! Top tip, try all the different ways to fold it until your happy with what works for you. My main motivation for buying was to create less waste and I’m doing that so a win!

I am glad I tried this but I found it uncomfortable. I felt it throughout the whole time I had it in, although I think the concept and design is great I think it needs to be smaller for me, I think that would help me considerable.

Hello Earlyna – thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re sorry to hear you found the size A Mooncup menstrual cup uncomfortable to use; we can of course understand this being disappointing. There are a few different reasons why this might have happened and often lots of things we can suggest which may help (including exploring whether the smaller size B Mooncup might be more suitable). So, if you’d like to look into this further and see if there is anything we can suggest to get you using the Mooncup more comfortably, please do get in touch with our Mooncup Advisors at advice@mooncup.co.uk and they’ll be happy to help.
I just Wish I’d swapped to moon up sooner. The money you would save and the waste you stop producing. Also feels fresher, cleaner and no carrying around sanitary supplies. It took a cycle or two to get used to getting “the seal”. And in my opinion it can be worn higher up than the literature would suggest, just like other designs. Love it, total convert. They should make girls more aware of this option at an earlier age, would save so much inconvenience and help with “period poverty”.

I've only recently converted to the Mooncup but OMG it's amazing!! I don't know why I never considered it before! It definitely takes a bit of getting used and you need to experiment a bit but once you start getting the hang of it it's great! Rarely get a leak (and if you do it's probably just not positioned quite right and is always minimal so a liner is sometimes useful). No need to carry tampons and towels around with you and brilliant for the environment in terms of waste. I would shout about it from the hilltops if I could - no going back for me!!
