“I found it a bit awkward on my first attempt but I'll never look back now - using tampons seems so wasteful! I also prefer not having to worry about carrying any around with me. Easy to insert and I can't feel it at all. Definitely recommend”

“Took a bit of getting used to! It can be tricky to get in, but by month 3 I was hooked. I work in the trade where there aren't many toilets and nowhere to dispose of disposables easily. Yes, it can get a bit messy, but I'm even getting the hang of getting it out cleanly. It seems to hold more than my tampons ever did, meaning I can also last from beginning to end of shift without any problems.”

“I've been a mooncup user for 11 years now and it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's saved me loads of money, saved so much waste, and on a more personal level has eased period pains to the point that they're non-existent and made that time of the month so much easier. If you are a new user, you might find it difficult or uncomfortable at first. I know when I first started I had trouble getting it into position properly and often had a bit of leaking but if there's one bit of advice I can give, it would be...persevere! Eventually, you will know your cup and your own body so well that using it will become second nature. I know cups aren't for everyone, but I would always recommend giving one a go as it could end up being an absolute godsend!”

“Really wanted to love this! Unfortunately, despite trying the different folds and different positions for inserting it, I found no matter what, it would slip down and cause some irritation. No leakages though which is a plus! Despite this, the website was super helpful with all of their tips to try, but unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to be for me.”

In regard to the design, in the 5 years since you purchased your last cup, we haven’t made any changes to the design or the silicone material that the Mooncup® is made from. Additionally, the length of the Mooncup stem has remained the same since the Mooncup was first created, back in 2002. However, the stem is designed to be trimmed to personal comfort once confident with the positioning and removal of the cup – if the stem of your old cup was shorter, I’m wondering whether you perhaps trimmed it in the past?
