“I've been using the Mooncup for over a year now, and it's been revolutionary. I could never switch back to tampons. I know some people are a bit grossed out with blood but it actually feels way less gross than tampons or pads. It's a bit fiddly to get used to, and I've abandoned wearing acrylic nails because logistically it's a nightmare, but once you get used to it, it's so much better than using tampons or pads. A tip though - keep out of reach of dogs because they might think it's a chew toy.”

“Don’t be scared of this. It’s really easy to use! The first few attempts are trial and error but I promise when you get used to it, it will be sooo much better than tampons. I am cursed with ridiculously heavy periods and was changing tampons every hour (super plus extra) when I’m at my heaviest, my Mooncup lasts about 3 hours. And with tampons I would get so sore by the end but that’s not the case with my Mooncup. Plus you’re saving the world at the same time! ;-)”

“If you’re reading these reviews, chances are you’re already sold on using menstrual cups so I won’t bore you with how not only are they far better for the environment but they are in every way FAR SUPERIOR to tampons in that they are more comfortable and waaaaay more reliable. Less leaks, less changing. Zzzzzzzz. Instead here’s why the Mooncup is the cup of all menstrual cups. The golden challis of all menstrual cups, if you will. The Mooncup is, in my opinion, the best menstrual cup on the market. It was the first menstrual cup I bought six years ago and this review comes after I decided to replace my original cup. Absolutely nothing wrong with the original except it had become discoloured as is normal for silicone and it was getting to the end of recommended replacement period. I can’t imagine how many tampons I would have used in the same six years! I have tried another brand while away from home when I had a surprise guest and was without my Mooncup. It was, as expected, inferior. The Mooncup was better mainly due to the latex being more rigid (it pops into shape very easily when inserted) and the stick at the base is thick and easy to grab making removal a breeze. I don’t find the stick to rub or poke at all while inserted and in fact I easily forget about it once inserted. I’ll keep recommending Mooncup to my friends who are struggling with finding a suitable cup or are starting out.”

“This wasn’t the cup for me, for no other reason than the stem. It was painfully even when trimmed right down. It created quite a sharp edge! I can report I had no leaks but was afraid to cough or sneeze”
