As I needed a new menstrual cup, I decided to buy a mooncup. Unfortunately, the silicone is too hard for me and wearing the cup was uncomfortable and a little painful, so for the moment I will keep using my old one.

Love love love how easy and reliable the moon cup is. I no longer worry and can happily go anywhere and do anything without fear of leaking through clothes etc. The freedom is such a relief. It does take a cycle or two to get to grips but sooooooooo worth the effort. If your in two minds I recommend you take the plunge

The product itself is great and this is the second one that I buy. The first one was 10 years ago and I needed a replacement. However, with this last purchase, I ended up very dissapointed. I don't know what the problem is, if it's related to customs (since the UK is no longer part of the EU), but I ended on paying more that 50 pounds on taxes, apart from price of the cup itself. Otherwise, the customs office wouldn't deliver it to me. This hadn't happened the first time I bought it, so I guess it's an issue related to the EU thing. So, although it's a real pity, next time I will have to change the company since it's not worh paying such a huge amount of money for a menstrual cup. It's a product I've always loved, but it's nonsense paying that much. So I'll have to look for an alternative, no matter how excellent the product is.

I'm on my 3rd cycle of using my Mooncup. I found removing it the most uncomfortable the 1st cycle but think I'm managing a bit better now. I like not worrying how long it's been in for unlike tampons. Not experienced any leakage. An added bonus is the envirmmental impact. I also decided to try it so I could give my daughter more options when the time comes. No intention of ever using tampons/pads again.

I’m very 50/50 with this, the idea is amazing and a lot more sanitary than pads and tampons. However inserting is very tricky, I’ve watched several videos and still haven’t been able to master it. I’ve had 2 children so I’ve gone for size A; and inserting is the main priority, I just never know how to get it perfect and ensure no leakage, or pain. If you get one just practice so much, I’m sure I’ll get it but it’s not as easy as it seems

So glad I brought a mooncup, I am so much more comfortable and confident when I have my period. Had to snip the tail off the cup, but even with it off it's easy to insert/remove. I just wet it a little to make it easier to fit. One of the best things I have ever purchased, and so much better for the environment.
