“I was a little unsure about NATO or G10 straps but this well made tough little watch band has me converted. I was looking for a replacement for a watch that originally ca with a springy strap which broke as they alway seem to do and I had no spare parts left to repair it with. Annoyingly the watch itself had been installed with the sort of spring pins that need pushing through from a hole on the outside to release them - but this watch didn't have such holes, so the spring pins couldn't be removed. After wrestling the old broken band off I was left with a watch which needed a strap which could be threaded through the fixed pins.
Enter the NATO.
Yeah, these things are a doddle to install, just slip the long strap over the top pin, under the watch and out over the bottom pin, through the loop on the shorter strap and fasten as you normally would. It fixed my problem without having to resort to snipping the original pins out. Interestingly enough if I had to, this NATO from Monkey Swag also came supplied with some spare spring pins so that wouldn't have actually been a problem.
As for the strap itself, it's made from a tough nylon, fits snugly and holds your watch securely. The metal loops are a matte steel and the buckle has a MKS stamped into it which is a nice touch and looks quite classy. As they're so easy to fit and come in such a range of colours and patterns you could easily have a few of these and swap them out as your mood (or outfit) changes.
As this thing looks so tough I'm thinking of getting another one for a spare old cheap Casio for work whose original strap went brittle years ago.”
