“I cancelled my questor car hire excess insurance when I found out I could get the same cover at a very similar price WITHOUT having to incur a £350 excess. I also heard from my car hire company that Questor had a very poor record when if you had to make a claim.”

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“Excellent product. Provided comprehensive coverage with higher claim limits for a lower price than many other providers. I had to make a claim after someone bumped our hire car door in Bulgaria, their portal was extremely easy to use and they were fast at providing a pay out, no back and forth or arguing about the claim. Highly recommended, I have continued to use them on a rolling yearly basis for my holidays.”

“Using the excess insurance product was easy to arrange online. So far, we have not actually been required to make a claim so cannot comment on that aspect of the product.”

“This gave us peace of mind while travelling in our RV and would have saved us a fortune had anything happened. Nice to have advice on the phone. Good service.”

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“Vast amount of paper needed to claim, altho staff were v helpful via the messaging system. Also the exchange rate in reimbursing the euro amount was disgraceful. Overall, not the best experience.”

“I didn't have to use this insurance policy so I can't give an opinion on how it would work. But it was quite a bit cheaper for a day hire than the car hire company would have charged for the same benefits.”
