“Very competitive price and gives great peace of mind. Be persistent at car hire counters though there are some extremely pushy assistants who will go as far as to tell you that the insurance you have is worthless! As long as you are able to leave a substantial deposit on a credit card there’s no need to put up with their hard sell.”

“Policy easy to purchase online and a good price in comparison with other companies. Unfortunately had to pay for excess whilst away on holiday, but claim was handled quickly and with ease. Would recommend.”

“Good value policy. This review is really about Allianz, the insurance company, rather than Cover For You, the broker. Unfortunately, I did have to claim, for minor damage to the hire car. This was a fairly small dent, caused by scraping along a roadside iron railing. I thought the bill (€434) was a bit steep, but the claim was paid with minimal fuss. The only reason I haven't given a five-star review is that after submitting the claim, I was subsequently asked to send the Cover For You validation certificate. Surely Allianz would already know that I'd taken out a policy via Cover For You? This caused a delay in paying the claim, which took exactly four weeks (20 working days) to process.”

“Great cover and a great price. Saved a fortune - when we picked up the car in Spain, they tried to sell us their very, very expensive insurance, but I was confident that I had adequate cover and saved a small fortune!”
