“I did not need to make a claim and so it is impossible to give a true rating on the product's quality, and whether it would deliver on its promises if one had to claim. But in terms of its cost, assuming it would deliver as one expects, then it is a very reasonable price and would prove good value for money.”

“Fortunately I did not have to make a claim, but I was able to book my car hire from Girona Airport without paying the exorbitant excess charges the hire company would have charged me, and it gave me peace of mind. So it was money well spent! Thank you.”

“The Spanish company, RecordGo still tried to €90 to cover excess for breakdown cover. For 10 minutes we argued that we didn't need it until we showed them the clause in our cover proving it. Every hire should have this and have it to hand when you pick your car up.”

“I always take out excess insurance in advance when hiring a car abroad and take great delight in turning down the extortionate insurance cover which the car hire company tries to sell me. Fortunately I have not neede to claim, but it is reassuring to have cover just in case. CoverForYou is good value.”
