“I bought these Millbury straw pellets to try them for garden mulch and slug deterrent as they are better value than similar products marketed for that purpose. They arrived quickly with little dust and I have had them down on beds under curcurbits beans and peas and around hostas and they appear to have significantly reduced or eliminated slug damage. You definitely need to add water first as I put some round a couple of new trees and realised they were absorbing all the water .
I was worried they may have some residual weedkiller or pesticides as the straw is not marked organic but I have not seen any evidence of that on the beans which would've been adversely affected. I bought 4 sacks and will come back for more. Great value great quality quick delivery thank you. Recommended”
