Friendly Readigrass for Small Animals Reviews

4.8 Rating 54 Reviews
I’ve tried different hays but my bunnies prefer this one. The bags can be hit and miss every now and again the bunnies will turn their nose up and done bags they just love them. I’m not sure why. This is great value for money and one bag will last my mini lops a couple of weeks.

My mini lops prefer this brand and type and have it everyday. Sometimes the bags are broken and it’s often sold out in the shop.

Prior to buying this product I had tried many varieties of hay, mainly the expensive brands like Burgess and Oxbow, I had the Oat, Timothy, Grass and Alfalfa. The only one they really liked was the Alfalfa which as we know, they can have too much of and I was always aware that the time would come when they couldn't have the Alfalfa any more as it is mainly for young rabbits. So I tried the Readigrass, I put it in a feeding bowl, they tuck in like I've given them a treat, I still can't believe how much they love it and it is a really reasonable price too. It does break up easily (there can be a lot of dust waste - it varies from bag to bag), so it's good to buy it from somewhere that you know will handle and pack the product carefully, I always buy this from Millbury. I have a sieve to reduce the dust when I reach the bottom of the bag, the price makes up for this. The Readigrass is now a 'must have' for me, the one hay I cannot be without. I have also taken it to friends who keep and breed rabbits, it seems they all love this, they actually go straight to it like they would a carrot. I can't recommend it enough.
