I like this one in the afternoon after lunch. I'm not sure why but it just tastes right for that time of day. I am a complete convert to loose leaf tea. Tea bags are pretty much a thing of the past. Getting the right gizmo to put the loose leaves into has been a trial and error but I have finally got there. I have abandoned those capsules on a chain and now simple throw a teaspoon of tea into an open topped metal thingy with protruding arms to hold onto the side of the mug. It doesn't even matter if the mug is too large. It still works tipped over.

I grew up drinking miles tea, so it was the natural choice to introduce it to my family when we got our own home. I thought would try another blend of miles tea, helpfully , they sell smaller sample sizes so you can give a few a try without committing. I loved Smugglers Gold so I immediately ordered a full packet. Beautiful and rich and full flavour. The perfect cuppa for comfort or as an ideal drink to have along side traditional afternoon tea. Miles posted this very quickly- I was impressed!

Another tea that I bring in to complement my favourites (Assam - large leaf and regular). I do find that once I open a packet of this tea I tend to stick with it until I finish it - which is quite quickly!

This is the tea I go for in the afternoon. No idea why. And for a change. A very nice smooth tea. More subtle and complex than Assam tea that I drink first thing. I find I drink it instead of coffee.

I have this tea around to provide a change from my favourites and find myself offering it to visitors who love it.
