I have been drinking Miles West County Original Blend loose leaf tea for several years. I switched to loose tea from teabags several years ago to reduce the environmental impact. Miles loose leaf tea previously came in a bag that appeared to be entirely made from paper. However, the most recent bags have an inner plastic liner, which seems incongruous in view of current efforts to reduce the use of single-use plastics. I recently recommended Miles loose leaf tea to an environmentally conscious friend who was looking for a source of tea that came without any plastic packaging, but unfortunately Miles tea no longer fulfils these requirements, so they will not be buying it.”
