“Unfortunately despite what read as excellent ingredients hence the additional star the cake was incredibly dry with unpleasant textures throughout where the glace cherries had seemingly candied parts of the cake leading to a swathe of small hard lumps of non-descript flavour. Doubly disappointing as I'd ordered it as an alternative birthday cake to have something a little different, and had no time to get something else when it turned out to be less than mediocre.”
