With all natural ingredients and packing methods a short shelf life on certain products is to be expected and we list all this information on our product pages as well as on the product itself.

“Possibly the worst carrot cake I have ever bought and certainly the most expensive! The topping was too runny and limited in amount, so more ended up on the wrapping than in me. First time I have had a carrot cake without any raisins or sultanas in it. Even the recipe in the Artisan Home Baking by Meg Rivers has them as a listed ingredient.”
Dear Douglas, I am so sorry to read this. The topping should not be runny at all, I am concerned that perhaps your cake was badly stored in transit as this is never something we're encountered before.
