“A failure to label the package up externally as needing refrigerating meant by the time we opened the package from Meg Rivers it had gone mouldy. Note the website makes no mention of the cake needing refrigerating. Obviously, a beginner‘s mistake not realising some cakes should be refrigerated. At least I won’t be caught out next time!

I would just like to update everyone on this. Meg Rivers have sent a replacement which they didn’t have to as:
1. It was my error not to refrigerate the original cake;
2. It wouldn’t have stopped me shopping with Meg Rivers as they bake some of the best cakes you can get delivered
As for the cake itself, it is brilliant and if you fancy treating yourself then buy one before they are all gone!”
