“I recently got the Cocous Bulbous split beater as part of a set. As a beater it's fine, good heft, and balance. However, I expected a bit more effect... I give it a 3-4 actually, better than average, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Again, I was looking for more a clack sound... on the other hand, or knee I sat tapping idly listening to music and realized it was clacking fine... so obviously there's nothing wrong with the beater, but for me, I prefer a more pronounced effect.”

“This beater can give very different sounds and is adjustable again with the elastic band. Very happy with McNeela Music, wish I had found them before.”
