“In my experience, these are uncommon to find. I've been having a really great time playing this one. Totally worth the ~$30 it costs + shipping. Pros: Great intonation. No particularly "bad notes." It has a tuning slide which both allows you to play with other instruments and allows you to make this effectively smaller to fit in your pocket. The plastic material means you can bring it anywhere. I usually chuck it in my backpack without a second thought. Con: Not a particularly loud instrument. The higher octave will carry in a small group well enough, but the bottom notes will be difficult to hear either in a group or outside. A great instrument regardless!”

“With the piccolo head it's very difficult to get a proper sound out of the instrument. When I put on the tin whistle head it sounds fine :-) I'll stick with the tin whistle, but I am glad I gave the piccolo a try.”
