“I was really impressed the first time I spoke to them on the phone with the knowledge of the manager I spoke with. I couldn't complete my Insurance application at the time, as I was still exchanging my EU license for UK one. The second time I contacted them and spoke to a different person and my quote doubled simply by the fact that I have replaced my EU license for UK one which according to this employee meant - the day I get my new license is the date they consider as a date of obtaining right to ride motorcycle. I tried to explain numerous times that there are specific dates on the EU driving license for when I have obtained the qualification for each category and that those will be basically copied on the UK one, as it's the same format. Then the person still insisted to know this better, as she has been working there for a long time and they only care about the issue date of the UK license, even though it's common sense that this is just the issue date for the actual plastic card. I escalated this and later received apology call from the manager I spoke to initially, which ensured me I was correct. He was very polite, explained everything in detail and was able to complete my original quote he gave me. Overall, I am happy with the outcome and I would recommend Bennetts but I would still suggest - do a bit of research and have a decent knowledge of your rights! I haven't used them for claims, thus I can't comment on this process.”
