“Would be 5 stars apart from the fact they took over 60 minutes to answer the phone on three occasions, & once when they finally answered, I had got through to the wrong department. So another 60 minute wait.”

“I discovered Hastings Direct by using the MCN Compare site. The premium was very competitive but the process to complete the application was extremely easy, in fact one of the easiest I've ever had to do. The end to end process was completed in next to no time. Excellent value.”

“I have no issue with McN Compare, rather Hastings. The quote was very competitive, and I completed the policy in respect of a brand new bike on line, payment being made in full. It took 1 1/2 hours on phone calls over 48 hours just to get confirmation of a policy and then another day to get documentation to take to the dealers(which was right to the wire). It certainly Spoilt what should have been the excitement of a new bike. I have previously had policies with them for both 2 & 4 wheels, but I shall not be renewing in a years time, nor will I be giving them any further business. Very disappointed by the whole episode.”

“I did a comparison for bike renewal insurance, due to the increases I telephoned my car insurance company and they were more competitive than my existing (Bennetts) who wanted to increase my premium by 40%. (no claims and clean license). Why do insurance companies take you for an idiot when it is renewal time? I have always found Hastings Direct competitive and excellent customer service although can be a long wait to talk to customer service team.”
