“The Hastings Direct website did not recognise my bike by the model number given in the MCN comparison site, and wanted to charge me a higher premium for a different model of bike.When I phoned It to get this sorted out, it then took FAR too long hanging on on the phone waiting to get a representative. When I was connected, the representative also had a problem matching up the bike and its model, as Hastings Directs lists use the bike name, but not model number. However, the rep was good, and the original (good) quotation was reinstated. Hastings Direct: spend more money employing more call centre operators, and make sure your model listings are full, not partial.”
