“A 5-star garment but awarded 4 stars on factoring in its RRP. Very lightweight, quite thin, but surprisingly warm. Well constructed and finished, but not the most robust-feeling material - but it doesn't have to be as it's intended as an unobtrusive layering quilt to be worn between other layers, for which it's ideal. 4 pockets - 2 x large open-topped internal pockets (easily big enough for a large smartphone), and 2 x concealed zip-opening hand-warmer pockets. For stowage, scrunches down into the supplied tubular stuff-sack - c.20cm x 12cm. Sizing information is a bit vague, but the 'XL' is ideal when worn over 2 thinnish layers on a 6'2" bloke with a 43" chest! Bought it to wear as the middle of 5 layers during the winter months at my gliding club on an elevated windy airfield in northern England, where windchill factors can easily drop temperatures well into minus figures! Works brilliantly. A competitive price and an excellent service with very quick delivery, thank you Masdings.”

“Excellent lightweight and packable layering piece. Very good quality, real down and comes complete with a separate pouch for packing away when the temperature rises. Taion stuff is very reasonably priced compared to many other Japanese brands as well, especially in the sale. Recommended”
