“This bracelet looks and feels great quality. However it is quite fiddly to get on and off and would be far better with quick release bars like all other Marloe straps.”
“I got the Bonneville, and the metal strap seemed to really work with it - in my mind.
Its fine, but for £50 I was expecting a couple of fundamentals, that aren't here. 1, I expected solid stainless steel not bent, hollow metal. While it looks ok, it makes the bracelet feel cheap as it rattles (noise-wise and physically) about on the wrist. Solid stainless would have complimented the watch so much better. The Bonneville is exceptionally well made and I would have liked a bracelet that matches.
2, There isn't any micro adjustment in the clasp - I did miss this when I purchased it, but again it would have made a better fit on the wrist, and actually would have compensated for the rattle you get with the bent steel. Its ok, but having bought a few Marloe watches I was expecting it to be great.”
“Compliments the Coniston Steel edition perfectly.
I needed a link taking out for a perfect fit, which could be a bit tricky if you don’t have the correct tools to knock out the pins; so recommend you spend a couple of quid with your local watch servicing expert to get it done without fear of bodging the job and possibly scratching this lovely piece. Otherwise perfect !”
“I bought a stainless strap to go with my Coniston Black Edition and it really sets it off a treat. Could this be an option for buyers moving forward instead of a leather strap ? Looks great on the wrist and isn’t going to wear out either.”
