“The Mercury Black Rubber Strap is a fantastic strap, it`s elegant, casual and raw all at once.
I changed the buckle, which is glossy, with the buckle from Forest Sailcloth, which is matte, because it matches the matte case on my Haskell - Global watch.
The advantage of a rubber strap is that when you travel in countries with high humidity, as I do as a Photographer, the strap can withstand water, is very elastic and therfor does not tighten around the wrist like lesther does when it get wet.
Brands such as Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger Lecoultre also provide some of their models with rubber strap, because it gives both and elegant and casual look.
