“Iv`e put the strap on my Coniston Black edition ( self wind) . The watch was a sixtieth birthday present from my wife. It`s my only watch so it gets lots of wear, hence over four years the need for the strap replacement. The strap looks great with the black dial although there is more of a red tone to the strap than i had expected from the web site photo. But love the way it looks. Although i wear it for work the coniston has a slightly more dress watch feel. I am considering getting a watch at some point in future for the weekends with a steel strap that could stand up to shallow swimming. What model would you recommend?”
“Great watch. Best looking watch I personally have ever seen. Straight out of the box it was a looker and fits well on the wrist. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I really wish it was at least 100m water resistant. Living in Hawaii I would take this in the ocean with me but I just don't know if i can trust the 50m and no screw down crown. Otherwise this is an amazing watch.”
“The website picture gives a good representation of the pleasantly deep brown colour, the sides are coloured to match and the inside is natural; in use it feels nicely robust, without being excessively stiff. The quick-release spring bars are a “nice to have”, but I’m in no hurry to change this strap for another.”
