“There are some things with single-strap NATO bands that impact the wearing comfort. (2-piece NATO straps don't have these problems.) First, there are two layers of strap thickness which sits between the watch and your skin raising the watch more than those thicknesses off your skin. The design of my Marloe watch has a two-step diameter back. The smaller step tend to snuggle into your soft skin tissue making the watch look visually thinner than it actually is. A single strap NATO band results in a visually thicker watch appearance. Secondly, excess strap length is folded back and forth in the two bottom clips making an uncomfortable bulge on the underside of your wrist.”
