Being able to learn about journey to the finished product makes it even more special. I do have a small gripe with the hands which are not sufficiently well illuminated to be able to read them in the dark. In these “swipe and like” times we live in, I really love the simplicity of hand-wound mechanical movement.”

“I love the execution and its a very visually stunning watch. Sometimes when you look at it the crystal seems not to be there and other times the lovely blue hue of the AR coating can be seen. The polished case is beautiful. My only gripe is that it is hard to pick up the hands when the initial glow of the BWG9 has faded. The ring around the dial continues to glow strong but it seems like the hands could have used an additional coat or two of the compound. One of the main reasons I bought this piece was because of nighttime visibility but it falls a little short in this area. I have an EC Andersson Calypso Arctic Sport coming soon and I hope the nighttime visibility lives up to the hype.”
