“Hello, I've been wearing the watch every day, usually from 6.30am to 7pm, depending on my working hours. I've had 3 occasions when the watch has stopped, always during the weekend when it was lying on the table while I was working manually with heavy tools :-). “I really like the Sceptre and thing it’s built very well and think it’s priced fair but I’m rating it at 4 stars mainly on price. At over $400 US, I would expect a higher quality band/buckle. I have other watches from comparable micro brands that have a much better buckle that makes it much easier to put on and take off the watch. The buckle is so thin for a watch of this size and quality it makes the donning process something you have to be deliberate with. I’ve been wearing it daily for two weeks and plan to buy a quality rubber or nato strap. Again it’s a great watch and if you’re on the fence, I’d still recommend it in a heartbeat as it’s very unique looking compared to most watches in its class and have received multiple compliments on it.”
“Already a Marloe fan, i purchased my first brand new one with the Sceptre Commander.
The enjoyment starts from the first moment of receiving and opening the box... You know what it is and the anticipation builds... It felt like a birthday party game of musical parcels, all I lacked was the music as I went through the layers
Opening the box is a delightful tease in itself - the quality outer package, the classy inner black watch box and then the discovery of the watch itself.
Superb and well matched on its quick release bracelet, but it is superbly matched, although lacking the micro adjustability of some brands - but quick and easy to remove a couple of sections to an appropriate size for my skinny wrist.
But with the quick release mechanism, it will rapidly change to any of my other Marloe leather straps.
The watch itself is beautiful dual-texture matte case, sapphire glass and the practical screw-down crown and a bi-directional 60 click bezel.
It has a beautiful deep blue multi-layer dial with floating luminous pontoons that highlights the different and quality materials used in this new watch.
It joins four other Marloes in my collection, but each have their own character and all get wrist time - although this new automatic is hogging the me time at present.
