“All in all great styling, finishing and design. It runs within spec, but on my timegrapher about 20 seconds fast and with a couple other technical things which are disappointing. Not awful just not expected.
In addition I order all new watches with bracelets as these are hard to add later. I planned to swap to a strap so im good with the bracelet being a little jangly. It looks much better on a strap anyway.
Overall, I'm fine with the value.”
“I own too many watches (my wife's opinion, not mine) but the Marloe Sceptre - Black Edition caught my eye and its simple design appealed to me, so I ordered one with the worn, tan leather strap and I'm totally impressed with this watch. From the simple dial, to the unique bezel, the great lume, the thick leather strap and the +4 seconds per day accuracy, this watch is an absolute bargain. Even the packaging was an unexpected surprise.
It's not perfect, the zero marker on the bezel is difficult to distinguish and the Japanese movement doesn't have the same pedigree as a Swiss movement but these are insignificant details to me. This watch is as accurate as my Swiss watches costing 4 times as much, it's built like a tank and I genuinely enjoy wearing it. I don't think this will be my last Marloe watch!”
“Yes, I was pleasantly surprised when the watch arrived. It came in a nice presentation box for starters. The watch itself looks every bit I hoped for and then some. Beautiful finish everywhere and that slightly domed sapphire crystal that I did not pick up on the photos. Classy effect with the blue light reflections. Automatic watches are usually not terribly accurate time keepers but this one runs a little fast by about 2-3 seconds in 24 hours. Not too bad. I am happy with the purchase and will keep an eye on Marloe watches. Cheers.”
