“I was made aware of Marloe watches and the Tay by a youtube review on Johns Watch Joint channel. I was immediately impressed with the design and finish and was quickly becoming hooked. The only problem was the case diameter. For someone who usually buys watches with a case diameter of at least 40mm, I wasn't sure I would like the look on wrist of a watch with only 35mm. I commented on this to John on his channel and he assured me it would look fine on my 7" wrist and that I would soon get used to it - so, as you know. I ordered one.
So what do I think?! It is small, very small to my eyes even now, but the design is so delightful and the finish so top notch that I decided to keep it. The fact that it was available at a reduced sale price was what finally cliched it for me.
Size is a very personal, subjective issue and I would not have been prepared to pay the full price unless it had been available in a larger size. That said, those are just my feelings on the subject and I am happy that I now own a Monroe watch, and one so beautiful.
