“I am a fan of Marlowe watches and now have 5. I have always wanted a black watch and never saw one I liked until the Pacific 66. At 40mm it is the size of watch that I like.
The white numerals on a black face are very easy to read and somehow having the white really highlights the black.
At some angles the hands look strangely like girders but yet delicate and enhanced by the white tips..
The small second hand at 6 is perfect and reminds be of a watch my father had that is waiting for a time when I can get it refurbished and working again.
I can’t recommend Marloe watches enough and the black Pacific 66 is at the very top end of their range. I normally would why that much for a watch but decided to take a risk. It was worth it.
