“Marloe watches constantly amaze me. I now own three and this is the best of the bunch.
It is , in my view, a fantastic watch. Easy to read and looks great on the wrist.
Marloe as a company are a joy to do business with: Prompt responses to questions and watched delivered very quickly. Highly recommended.”
“The service is always excellent with Marloe. This is my favourite Marloe to date. The look, great lume, and although it looks big and chunky it wears very well. The lugs are long so the actual dial is quite compact. Fitted with the ribbed leather strap it flows perfectly. You can easily wear this watch with a 6.5" wrist. Great timekeeping too. Perfect Chrono.”
“The first Atlantic I received was faulty fresh from the box. The chronograph hand was loose and the timekeeping was extremely poor. Not a good start. Ordinarily I would have just sent it back for a refund. However, there was something about the watch that had me mesmerised from the off. Its stunningly beautiful. The packaging is second to none. It felt right. And the response from Marloe was superb. I'm glad to say a replacement was sent and
OMG it's incredible. So far it's COSC accurate and I'm delighted. So like the famous Scot Robert the Bruce, if at first you don't succeed.......”
“Incredibly fast, free shipping to Canada (2 days!) with tracking, and it arrived on a Canadian holiday (Thanksgiving). Can't ask for much better than that.
As for the watch, it's exactly as I imagined it, even better. The horween leather strap is soft and supple, and should last a nice, long time. The case is beautifully finished, and the dial and hands are wonderful. Overall, a perfect first watch for my Ancestry Collection (I have direct ancestry in Scotland). This one will be worn with pride for life.
Thank you, Marloe, for creating such a stunning watch.”
“The Atlantic Flyer is a beautiful watch with all the functions of a MUCH more expensive timepiece. The lume is spectacular and long lasting. Couldn’t ask for more than what the Flyer brings in quality.”
“As a Chartered Engineer and Private Pilot with a keen admiration of airships I was immediately seduced by a random advert that I came across for the Atlantic. However, given that the two other watches that I own and regularly wear are an Omega Speedmaster & Rolex Yachtmaster I wondered if perhaps I would feel like I was ‘downsizing’ if I bought and then wore one. This gave me much pause for thought for a few days until I thought I’d go for it, initially considering an R34, I bought a flyer for the luminous dials with a serial number that meant something to me (which makes it extra special).
The watch has a nice weight to it, the coated sapphire crystal glass means that it is exceptionally easy to read from many angles and is now my preferred watch when going flying. I also now wear this most of the time as it is comfortable and it seems exceptionally hard wearing even with the leather strap.
Ironically, the low volume uniqueness gives it a level of understated class that means, for me, it holds its own well against my other two watches but at a fraction of a cost. Definitely recommend.
NB: You’ll also spend too much time watching the mechanism through the back of the case.”
