“Great watch.. easy to wear and looks great with the combination of the sunburst steel dial, shine of the case and the ring of luminova. The fact that it's a fully mechanical watch rather than the more common automatic and the back make it all the more special.”

“I’ve had the watch for a month and absolutely love it. I got it with the “red” band, which is actually more of a subdued burgundy hue, not really red, but a great match for the beautiful dial with the (real) red second hand with its terminal pointer. It’s difficult to not keep looking at it, not to mention the gorgeous display back. My Myota movement gains a little under ten seconds a day, and runs 46 hours on a full wind (about 40 turns). It is ridiculously easy to wind, something I was concerned about as I’m a bit arthritic and I have several manual wind watches that are MUCH harder to wind. None so easy as this one, and the large, textured crown was a big reason I decided to try this model out. I”m glad I did! If I had a complaint it would be that the luminous hands on the face are almost invisible at night, and the cirumferential paint job is interesting, but doesn’t help. And the “courage is not being fearless” inscription is, to say the least, puzzling, but I suppose it’s a bit late to ask the author, although I guess it is more courageous if you carry a bit of fear about with you! It’s hard to imagine I paid less than $400 for this. If you want one, I suggest you get it now. My understanding is that they’ve stopped making this movement.”
