Great bike from Mark2 first time using Electric mtb bike and the power is great on the difficult hills on my regular commute a couple of which I couldn’t cycle up as they were too steep. Ed at Mark2 kept me up to date with delivery etc . The bike is really well made and looks fantastic.

The bike so far is great. For an inexperienced rider, it has been fun to take it out. The electric assist means that with my relatively low fitness level, I can keep going and adjust the effort. A great purchase so far.

This is my first eBike and I’m delighted with it - it’s robust, powerful and was a breeze to set up. Living on the side of a steep hill, it’s great to know the extra power is there when needed.

Exceeded my expectations for the price. Build quality is great and the range is more than enough for me.

Tracking down an E-bike that is available is really quite difficult at the moment. The Mark2 Scrambler bike was in stock and arrived after a week (a few days longer than stated on the web site, but communication with Ed at Mark2 was good and given the current covid situation that certainly doesn't warrant docking a star!). So far done just under a hundred miles, the longest single run was 27 miles and I still had around 25% battery left. For info, I'm over 90kg, the run involved mixed road and forestry track, just under 900ft of ascent - obvs similar descent! and it was a windy day. The boost 'throttle' is handy for giving you just that extra shove up a hill if you're running a low/no level of assist, without needing to change the actual assist level. I've swapped out the saddle (I'm guessing my bum was just used to my old one), stuck on a rear carrier and bottle cage, but other than that, the bike is perfect as is.

I bought a Mark2 scrambler recently and have ridden over 100 miles. The battery definitely meets its claimed range, which is probably a bit conservative. The power is great, and by and large I leave it on the lowest setting as that is more than adequate for most riding, but love the throttle function to give an extra squirt of power when needed. I find the top power a bit fierce for lots of trails unless they’re really steep and not too uneven. It’s a comfortable bike, even the saddle, which I expected to change and I’m leaving it. The brakes are excellent, progressive and strong. I’ve started to take it out more than my road bike as it’s such fun, and actually on the road is good too. Given the overall package and price it’s a great buy.

Having previously bought an e-motion cruiser which was commandeered by my wife I felt compelled to buy a Scrambler. Completing over 80 miles in the first week of buying it, I am a complete E bike convert. It’s great to get further a field to places you wouldn’t normally see having that assurance to can get home without completely wearing yourself out.
