“I am quite new to hair curlers and I struggled more with this barrel then I'd hoped. a There is a little glove so that you don't burn yourself when using it, however this didn't work for me and I still gave myself mini burns.”
“Very basic, straightforward & relatively easy to use. Very easy to remove and change the barrels. Heats up efficiently. I’ve not given it 4 stars because I found it quite difficult to avoid burning my fingers whilst holding my hair on the barrel. Not sure I would use it too often to avoid damaging my hair, you definitely need to use a heat protect spray. Managed to achieve nice waves in my shoulder length hair.”

“The barrel fits snuggly into the Mark hill handle, clicking into place with a simple twist of the handle and barrel. It comes with a small glove to hold the hair when twisting around the barrel to enable you to hold your hair without burning your fingers. Whilst this heats up quickly this product has not to be made for afro hair there is nothing for the hair to clip into and hold in place.”
“I’ve used this more on my daughters hair than mine, she has a natural curl and this helps to keep it bouncy and even with no need for spray to keep hold.
My fine and long hair is a little more tricky, I’ve watched tutorials (which really help) and use the Mark Hill spray as advised, it takes a bit of time to get the style correct so I prefer the bigger barrel but would recommend this one for friends with thicker hair or just for doing on a friend rather than yourself (unless your a pro)”
“I was really looking forward to using this as I have short hair and this was recommended for that purpose. It looked great and easy to use but unfortunately with me having more of a short style it was not suitable. I asked my niece to try as she has shoulder length hair and she also found it unsuitable. I think I would only recommend this for use of use shoulder length or longer.”
“Really pleased with this curler. The size of the barrel is great for lovely natural looking curls. I brush out my curls to look natural and effortless but normally find they fall out after a few minutes - the curls I had with this barrel lasted two days!!! So glad I have this item as it’s the only curler that hasn’t disappointed me!”
“Really versatile - gives tight ringlet styles curls on my short hair, and loose waves on my daughters really long hair. Would highly recommend even for beginners! Curls lasted all day and slightly in to the next which is great for a weekend away.”
