“Great bike, nippy and quick. Bought the bike as a wee runaround that I could just jump onto and ride 5 miles into town and back for a bottle of milk or something. However, I like it so much that I have ridden 120 miles in the first week, hard work but rewarding on the single speed. Haven’t ridden any of my other bikes in that time. I love the colours, so do the admiring crowds. All my friends (say) they want one!”

“Having built the bike following delivery there was an issue with a clicking noise coming from the rear hub. Having sent various emails to the customer care dept. a new hub was sent out and hey presto no noise. Whilst the build is relatively straightforward for someone like me, there needs to be more care taken at your side as there is no lube / grease at the junctions of the metal to metal, and no instructions on how to build the bike if you do not know what you are doing. The brakes also required adjusting and tightening up, and the bike arrived in my view having not been fully assembled at the factory and test ridden. That said, the bike was packaged well and all the parts were there. I would suggest that more care is taken and less speed in the putting together the bike at factory stage. Having resolved the various issues myself as a CYTECH bike engineer (in my spare time), the bike rides well and is nicely balanced.”

“It’s a really nice ride, easy to put together and I’m generally pleased. The only negative is the finish of the paintwork. It’s ok but has a home spray look rather than a factory finish. That’s slightly disappointing but I still happy given the price.”

“I've ridden geared bikes for commuting for years and got fed up with the extra maintenance needed. So I decided to treat myself to a single speed bike from Mango and I'm so glad I did. I was quite surprised at just how light this bike is. The bike is a joy to ride, light and fast. The 46-18 gear ratio is the perfect choice for whizzing around town and is just right for the occasional hill climb. Components are good quality for this price range. The customer service was very good too, I like their friendly and quirky update emails and they kept in touch from start to finish. Build and dispatch time was very good too. Overall, very good bike and a good company to buy a bike from. Thanks Mango”
