“I go through stages with Thai Curry pastes: sometimes I go through spells of liking them hot and at other times I just want a few weeks of cooler tastes. The cool bundle is a perfect pack: the variety of flavours is excellent and the spiciness is just perfect.”

“We have been buying the pastes for some time having first encountered them at the local farmers market via Mae Jum herself. They are without a doubt the best and most authentic Thai curry pastes we’ve tasted and make getting a Thai takeaway pointless. We’ve tried them all and every one is absolutely superb - to the point that every time we have one that’s our favourite, until we try another one. We currently have 12 packs across all of the different curries in our larder and can see them being a store cupboard staple for years, they are fantastic!”

“The curry pastes are to die for, proper authentic Thai Food flavour without any hassle in the kitchen, they also use only minimal and natural ingredients. Highly recommended. I also really loved the packaging, they come in a pretty paper box ready to gift if you can bear to give them away. I always buy more and plan to give some to my friends but I never do ;-)”

Hi Kevin, Thank you so much for your review and feedback. I'm from Southern Thailand, where the green curry is spicier than central regions, so that is perhaps why you found it too spicy. The south of Thailand's food is usually a little spicier than in other areas. However, try to put a little less paste, you will still get the aroma and flavour, it will still taste great, but with a little less heat. Also, try adding a little more palm sugar (or little brown sugar) which helps neutralise and balance out the chilli heat too. Jum
