“Sorry in advance for the long review but I feel I need to address all the positives of this bra. Anyone who is having breast Surgery for any reason NEEDS this Surgical Bra. I wish I had known about this Bra on my first breast surgery. Most surgeons will tell you to buy a good sports bra but after doing so and then on my 2nd operation purchasing a MACOM Surgical Bra, I knew that sports bra (even expensive high support) are no good for post op. I had my Implants removed and replaced with smaller size, so I was unsure of what size my breast would be and worried about CUP Size etc. You do not need to worry about cup size with MACOM. I ordered a size 34 (as I wear a 34 D - Ireland size) however, as comfy as the bra was I felt it just did not give me that compressed and secure feeling I needed. So I ordered another one in size 32 and this was heaven to wear. It gave support and comfort and moulded to size of my breast. It did not aggravate my incisions like a sports bra would. In fact, it almost moulded around the incision and made them less painful. What I love about this bra is that the cups adjust to fit your breast (when swollen after surgery and even weeks later when they have gone down). I am nearly 4 weeks post op and I alternate between the two bras. Even though one is slightly bigger I can pop it on when washing the other one, so I do recommend buying 2 (one in black and one in beige) so you can wear light colour tops. In my opinion, If you are a 34 band width in a normal bra size and the normal bra you get fits you comfortably without having to force it to tie I would order a size 32. If you are a 36 band width, I would order a 34. I know the site says to order your normal band width, but I am definitely a 34 (I can even fit in a 36 band width), but in MACOM Bra I needed the 32. It also stretches slightly over time so opt for the smaller size for the secure compressed feeling that you need after surgery. If you have surgery please do not opt for other bras, as I have said I did not have MACOM on my first surgery and do believe it impacted the healing and visual result of my breasts. The MACOM bra securely holds your breasts in place so they can SET into their position. I love this Bra.”
