“These units are a great replacement for areas where there is little space between the fixing surface and the main structure. They fit into a very tight space and do not give anything like the heat generated by the usual downlighter fittings. They can be wired to the existing low voltage system in place or directly or to the 240 mains via the included miniature transformer supplied. A proper sealing washer between the mounting surface and the edge of the downlight fitting would be welcome for any rough textured finish.”
