“I was advised by the Lyco site, to purchase these LED light bulbs, when I purchased a fluorescent light fitting. When I fitted the bulbs into the light fitting, they started to smoke. I therefore contacted Lyco, as I wanted to return these items and also, for an explanation, as to why these were recommended with the light fitting that I purchased. To date, I have not heard back from them and this is very poor service, as I have purchased a range of goods from them over the years. I dread to think what would have happened if I had switched the light on and left the room, there could have been a serious fire. Very poor service.”

“Easy fit straight into existing florescent fitting just have to replace old starter with the led starter provided. 30 second job! Takes longer to get the chair in place! Fast delivery, well packed. Excellent.”

“Product is great, but my first delivery came with a damaged starter as it was left to bounce around inside the cardboard tube during transit, then when I received the replacement, the starter was intact but the actual glass tube was shattered. Thankfully I don't need another replacement as I now have one intact tube and one intact starter, but packaging was very poor and needed proper cushioning. Lyco customer services and delivery times were great however.”

“The Tubes are fine but it took 3 delivery to get them delivered unbroken THe tubes were in cardboard sleeves but then then were put loose in a bigger carton. with No bubble wrap or other material to cushion them during transport.”

“Perfect substitute for a conventional discharge tube for size and fit but like all LED so-called "equivalents" not quite as bright - I'd say about only about 85 to 90% as indicated by my lightmeter. Adequate, even so. Might be the same if it was rated at 30W”
