“Take out the old 5' tube, take out the starter, and replace both. A 2 minute job. This 24w tube is as bright as a 58w fluorescent tube, but saves £5 a year in electricity (3 hours a day, 15p/kWh). And it comes on immediately, and does not flicker.”
